Inspire with Story: Develop your storytelling skills

In partnership with Saltbox at the Salthouse, Frome

Improve your communication and learn how to inspire your colleagues with stories. Whether you’ve told stories before, want to develop your skills and confidence, or are hoping to tell your first story, this workshop will guide you through some basic skills to help you prepare and tell a story well.

Working with a traditional story, you’ll discover how to make a story your own and how to remember it without learning it word for word.  You’ll learn how to develop conviction when speaking in front of others and discover some top tips on how best to tell stories.   Whatever your experience of storytelling, this workshop will help you to gain confidence in a supportive space with plenty of fun to encourage your natural creativity and storytelling potential.

“This workshop was in depth, totally engaging.  It stretched the mind, engaged the body, emotions and senses.  I was given warm encouragement and have learned that I do not need to learn a story by heart but can build it up in a number of ways and make it my own.  I enjoyed the whole experience.”
